Tales of the Jedi, the latest animated series from the Star Wars universe, has gotten much attention due to the series of shorts telling previously unknown tales of famous characters like Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano. Since then, there has been much speculation on whether or not the series will continue with more stories featuring more characters.

Should the series continue and the focus remain on telling stories about the Jedi, there are plenty of characters that are or were a part of the Jedi Order that the showrunners could easily use. Characters that, while they may not be as famous, still could have stories told about them that reveal key details about their actions and their pasts.

Barriss Offee

One of the biggest tragedies of The Clone Wars was Barriss Offee's surprise turn to evil, as she was responsible for the bombing of the Jedi Temple. But it's hard to see how her thinking on the Jedi changed by this point.

Barriss is an interesting character with close ties to Ahsoka Tano, and her betrayal clearly shocked not only the young Jedi, but the entire Jedi Order. Yet viewers never see her slow change away from the Jedi or why she decided framing Ahsoka for her crimes was the right thing to do, giving plenty of material for a few shorts explaining this backstory to her.

Quinlan Vos

There are many places where Quinlan Vos could appear next in the Star Wars universe, but one place that would make perfect sense would be in Tales of the Jedi.

Other than a brief mention of his name in Obi-Wan Kenobi as being a survivor of Order 66, Vos hasn't been seen since the Fall of the Republic. This gives way to a potential story featuring Vos and his actions in surviving Order 66 and escaping from prying eyes. Vos' calm, carefree nature make him an extremely likable, albeit wild, protagonist that everyone can root for, even in a small series like Tales of the Jedi.

Pong Krell

General Krell certainly was on the list of Jedi that should be featured in Tales of the Jedi, and that has not changed to this day.

Krell is a brutal Jedi that betrays the Republic, planning on joining Count Dooku following Umbara. But it's unknown how he changed to the Dark Side, or if his harsh tactics were a part of his character his entire life. Should he be included in a future Tales of the Jedi episode, a story showing how Krell turned to the Dark Side and his plans going further prior to his arrival on Umbara would certainly be a story of interest for the fans.

Tera Sinube

Tera Sinube's appearances in Star Wars are brief and mostly regulated to cameos, but his small amount of screen time makes him the perfect candidate for an episode of Tales of the Jedi dedicated to him.

As one of the oldest Jedi Masters, Sinube mostly trains Jedi Younglings, giving out wise lessons to them and to Padawans like Ahsoka. But not much is known about his past or his time in the Jedi Order. Getting a few shorts about him and how he became the wise master that he is by the time fans first meet him in The Clone Wars would certainly flesh out his character a bit more.

Sifo-Dyas

Sifo-Dyas was the Jedi through which the Clone Army was created, but very little is shown about what exactly happened to pull this off, making it perfect for a short episode for Tales of the Jedi.

But accounts and sketchy evidence only tell half the story. Being able to witness firsthand the fall of Sifo-Dyas and see what really happened the day he died would be a welcome bit of storytelling that fans would be more than willing to see on screen.

Asajj Ventress

Technically, Ventress was never officially a Jedi. But given that she was trained by a Jedi before meeting Count Dooku, this would still make a good story for Tales of the Jedi to tell.

Viewers see some of this training in a flashback in The Clone Wars, though details there are limited and brief. Seeing this story fleshed out for one of the best characters in The Clone Wars would really help show off more of Ventress' character and how she managed to get off that planet and become Count Dooku's apprentice. A fitting short or multiple shorts for one of the show's most memorable characters.

Eeth Koth

Many Jedi from the prequels had little-known fates, including Eeth Koth. His fate was revealed in the comics, but on screen, he's never seen again.

In the comics, Eeth Koth is hunted down and killed by Darth Vader after he tried to save his family from him. But those who don't read the comics wouldn't know this, making it a perfect story to tell in Tales of the Jedi. Audiences have already seen that the showrunners are willing to tell post-Order 66 stories, so fully animating this one for the world to see wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Kanan Jarrus

The story of how Caleb Dume, more commonly known as Kanan Jarrus, survived Order 66 has been modified or altered multiple times at this point, so a short or series of shorts showing his survival would be a benefit to the franchise.

When fans last saw Kanan prior to Star Wars Rebels, he escaped Order 66 thanks to the intervention of the Bad Batch. But following this, nothing is shown on screen of what he does or where he goes. Not only would Tales of the Jedi be a great way to follow Kanan after escaping, but it could also be expanded to show how he met Hera and formed the crew of the Ghost.

The Younglings

The 6 Jedi Younglings that Ahsoka helped protect in Season 5 of The Clone Wars may be getting more screen time soon in the upcoming Season 2 of The Bad Batch. But that's not the only place that audiences could see them again.

Each of the 6 younglings comes from different a background and has distinctively different personalities. It would be interesting to see just how these younglings managed to be paired together and become friends. Not only that, but if all 6 of them survived Order 66 as hinted, another great story to tell with them would be how they survived, especially given that they were most likely on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple when it happened.

Adi Gallia

Adi Gallia is certainly not like other Jedi, as she actually seeming to enjoy some of Anakin's crazier stunts with some amusement. But the fact of the matter is that her past isn't that well known.

If the showrunners wanted to feature some less famous Jedi and explain more of their backstories, Adi Gallia would be the perfect choice for it. She's cool, she's calm, and she's not as rigid-minded as the rest of the Jedi Council. She would be the perfect choice for a short about her, or perhaps a short where she co-stars alongside another prominent Jedi. Either way, she would be a great addition to the Tales of the Jedi family.
