DC recently had another great addition to its gaming collection with the release of Gotham Knights. With another upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, just around the corner, DC is certainly proving to be working hard to give fans the best games they can, featuring their favorite heroes and villains.

But some DC characters are far more deserving of this treatment than others due to their popularity and how their powers work, and Redditors are more than happy to take to the site to voice their own opinions about who they want to see get their own video game.

John ConstantineA comic book rendering of the DC hero John Constantine.

Marvel's infamous detective of the occult is clearly a popular choice among Redditors to receive his own video game, with multiple people chiming in with responses of support for it to happen. While Constantine isn't the traditional sort of fighter, his magical prowess make him a slippery one for bad guys to kill.

MudConnect describes their vision as a "mystery/detective game" with Constantine able to unlock newer and better spells over the course of the game, much like how Batman unlocks better gadgets in the Arkham games. The idea, as the one that started the thread, clearly has potential and support among fans.

SupermanChristopher Reeve's Superman flying to the camera in Superman '78 comic

As one of the most overpowered superheroes in history, a new game with Superman in it seems like it would be a challenge, given the character's insane powers. However, one Redditor has come up with a solution past this.

Splub describes an idea for a "sandbox Superman game," in which players would have access to all of Superman's abilities from the start, but would have to control how to use them and avoid doing as much collateral damage as possible. With multiple upvotes and other comments comparing the idea to Saint's Row 4, it seems that many would be open to this sort of idea.

Green ArrowGreen Arrow in DC Comics

Though his lack of any major powers makes him easily beatable by DC powerhouses like Black Adam, Green Arrow has a lot of agility and a quiver full of arrows that makes Redditors really want to see what he can do in his own video game.

Green Arrow, while similar to Batman, has a more lighthearted nature to him, making a game featuring him brighter in comparison to Batman games. As GwynBleidd98 mentions, "different trick arrows, acrobatic movement mixed with some solid bow combat and martial arts for close range could be a lot of fun." Many other Redditors have voiced agreement and given upvotes as well, drawing more support for a game starring this fan-favorite character.

Blue BeetleBlue Beetle has Amazing Armor

While not as famous as other characters, Blue Beetle's powers and abilities make him perfect for a more Iron Man like game. However, Superior_Sass has a twist to the game that makes a Blue Beetle even better.

In their words, "a Co-Op game with Blue Beetle and Booster Gold," would be fantastic. The two are one of the best duos in all of DC and are easily stronger together. While the post may not have as much support as other ideas, there still seems to be some interest in seeing a game like this.

ShazamBilly Batson as Shazam in DC Comics

Shazam is easily one of the most recognizable characters in DC, and a game starring him would no doubt gain massive support quickly. Several people on Reddit have voiced their support for getting a Shazam game.

enderverse87, in particular, seems to believe that the game would have some major puzzle aspects to it, with Shazam having to "transform back and forth to get through some stuff," would be a key aspect to the game mechanics. Given the character and how his powers work, puzzle problems in a game for him wouldn't be too far from the realm of possibility.

Green LanternGreen Lantern Corps

Green Lantern has a multitude of powers all centered around his ring, but a game centered around him or the Green Lantern Corp may be difficult to pull off.

Scary Green Lantern villains aside, the ring's powers letting the user create anything they want would be difficult to replicate for a game. However, thebatfan5194 suggested that "a skill wheel or something with different constructs that you could change over time," could be an option to get around this problem.

Aquamanaquaman talk to fish powers justice league

Aquaman has beaten many powerful foes, and a game starring him would be no different. Some Redditors even have ideas of what story to adapt for an Aquaman game.

In a long, descriptive post, Kalse1229 describes a way to adapt the Aquaman: Rebirth story from the comics, in which "Coram Rath usurps the title of King of Atlantis, and nearly kills Arthur." This Redditor goes on to describe the game in their mind even further, featuring Aquaman freeing his captured allies before taking the fight to Coram Rath. While this post hasn't received much attention, the fact that it's so well-detailed is an achievement in itself and shows this particular fans dedication to the idea.

Plastic ManPlastic Man - Justice League

Plastic Man is easily the goofiest member of the Justice League and considered a joke at times among its more prominent members. But could easily lead into the plot of a game featuring this hero.

Redditor roroslowmo describes their idea for a game, where Plastic Man could be "trying to branch out in a new City after being ostracized by the League," which would lead to the game being him trying to prove himself to his fellow heroes. Though the idea of a Plastic Man game hasn't received too much attention on Reddit as of yet, the idea of a hero as versatile as him getting his own game is a thought-provoking one, with plenty of scope for innovative game mechanics not yet seen.

StaticDiscouraging Static Shock Live Action Production Update

Though Static is easily more famous for the version of his character from the Static Shock cartoon, many people on Reddit still would love to see him get his own video game.

ThatOneWilson describes their vision of a Static game, saying "I'm imagining we open with either version of Static's origin, and then continue through him exploring his powers and trying to be a hero." Given the many replies and upvotes for a Static or a Static Shock game, the idea seems to be quite popular, enough so that, should one be made, it would get plenty of support.

The Flashflash speed powers

While Flash would be an insanely popular character to get his own game, especially for Redditors, the hardest part would be to figure out how his speed would work in the game.

But getting past that hurdle, Redditors have plenty of ideas for Flash games, including games where he fights various villains and perhaps even other speedsters such as Zoom. "He has the history and rogues gallery to make a very content-fueled game," says Mr_Versatile123. With multiple posts and upvotes all over Reddit in support of a Flash game, it may only be a matter of time until fans' wishes are granted.
