With the prequel comic to the Dungeons & Dragons movie being announced recently, the fans of the game are very excited to see where the writers take the overall story. The popularity of Dungeons & Dragons has skyrocketed recently, especially with its references in Stranger Things.

But the game has been a cult classic for decades now, and a lot of fans are also experimenting with recreating some of their other favorite fictional characters in the game. Harry Potter has, of course, been one of the most successful fantasy series both in terms of book sales and movie box office, and fans can build Harry Potter's most memorable characters in the roleplaying game.

Lucius Malfoy

Taking a different approach to a straight-up wizard, Lucius Malfoy would be classed as a Bard, even though bards are not generally evil. To take that into account, he would be a College of Swords Bard; this is because this subclass has a bit more swashbuckler traits.

One of the other reasons for his Bard classification is that they utilize their charm and charisma a lot to get their way, and so does Lucious use his social status and intimidating present to great effect. In terms of alignment, he would be lawful evil as Lucius has always tried to restore the classic wizarding world-class structure and rigid rules.

Bellatrix Lestrange

Bellatrix Lestrange is arguably one of the most despised and most chaotic Harry Potter characters in the series. Because of this, she has to belong to the Chaotic Evil alignment.

Because of her being a wizard, she should be classed as a Sorcerer with a further sub-class of Wild Magic Sorcerer, considering they are also the most chaotic presence in the game. The strength is further enhanced by two levels of Warlock and having Voldemort as the undying patron.

Minerva McGonagall

Minerva has multiple abilities and personality traits that need to be kept in mind. Because of her prowess with her wizarding abilities and the fact that she is a professor, she has to be classed as a Wizard. She is also one of the fairest characters in the series, so her alignment would be lawful good.

Minerva's transformation abilities also have to be kept in mind. Although this points towards her being a Druid Wild Shape, it can also be achieved using the 9th-level transmutation spell, Shapechange. Her further sub-class has to be the School of Transmutation.

Luna Lovegood

Luna has a very distinct personality in the Harry Potter universe, and just based on the official description of the sub-class, Luna has to belong to the Circle of Dream Druids. The subclass has been described as: "These druids seek to fill the world with dreamy wonder," and that certainly makes sense for Luna Lovegood.

Luna is also inherently a good person, but she also wants people to be liberated from the conventional styles of thinking and living; therefore, her alignment should be chaotic good.

Fred And George Weasley

Fred and Geoge in Harry Potter were the perfect examples of people who don't stick to the rules and who enjoy playing pranks all the time. Because of this, they have to be classed as Arcane Trickster Rogues. Another advantage of this subclass is that they can cast Mage Hand and a number of other enchantments.

The twins are also inherently good but, at the same time, don't mind being a nuisance to others, making them aligned as chaotic good. The brother should also be given the Artificer Initiate Feat that can help them in crafting ingenious products.

Hermione Granger

Hermione is a fan-favorite character and the most law-abiding young wizard in the series and can be seen as following in the footsteps of McGonagall and Dumbledore. Because of this, she has to be classed as a Wizard and subclass as Chronomancy Wizard due to her ability to play with time in Prisoner of Azkaban.

Hermione is also capable of fighting against unjust laws, an example being her fight against the treatment of house elves. This makes her lawful good. She should also have the War Caster feat that will make her even more powerful.

Ron Weasley

Ron is inherently a good person in the series but, at the same time, is not as law-abiding as Hermione and can often break rules as long as his conscience is clear. This makes him neutral good and can be classed as a Paladin.

His sub-class should be Oath of Devotion Paladin. The subclass is not as exciting as some others, but that, in a way, is surely something that Harry Potter fans can't deny suits his personality.

Lord Voldemort

It may not seem like it, but Voldemort should be classed as a Paladin. Yes, Paladins are not inherently supposed to be evil, but his sub-class should be that of an Oathbreaker Paladin. This subclass does allow for evil alignment. His alignment, finally, should be lawful evil, even though he only operated according to his "laws," which also ties in with some of the wildest Harry Potter theories out there.

Voldemort is also the kind of character who would multiclass with three levels of Warlock along with Mage Slayer as an ability. This will allow him to make Horcruxes and represent his love of killing other wizards.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter has too many innate abilities just to be a wizard, although it seems like the logical answer. He should rather be classed as a sorcerer - more specifically, an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer. This is supported by the fact that Voldemort left a fragment of his mind inside Harry.

Harry is not a firm believer in following rules, but at the same time, he is inherently a good person. His alignment, therefore, should be neutral good. He also loves helping his friends and other people in need, and he doesn't have Luna-like free-spirited energy to be chaotic.

Rubeus Hagrid

Hagrid loves taking care of magical creatures and even becomes the Care of Magical Creatures professor along with the gamekeeper. If a player wanted to make this lovable half-giant in iDungeons & Dragons, his entire character shouts Circle of the Shepherd Druid.

Although Hagrid is a good guy, he is not much of a believer in following rules. From the first time viewers were introduced to Hagrid, he kept doing things he said he shouldn't be doing. He would be aligned as chaotic good to reflect this.
