New Pokémon tins were released on Oct. 14 featuring Giratina V, Rotom V, and Gallade V. These tins also contain 5 Lost Origin booster packs for a chance for fans to add some more exciting cards to their collections.

Pokémon Celebrations was one of the expansions released in the Sword & Shield series celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon. These cards featured excellent art for many iconic Pokémon in the series and a re-release of popular classic cards throughout the years.

Umbreon Star

This card's artwork displays Shiny Umbreon and is one of the most sought after cards from Celebrations. Its ability is called Dark Ray and allows the player to choose one card in their hand and force them to discard it.

This Pokémon also possesses one attack that requires two dark-type energies and deals 30 damage to any Pokémon the player has out on the field, this attack also negates any effects from the defending Pokémon.

Blastoise

This is a reprint of one of the most iconic cards from the early Pokémon TCG, Blastoise, one of the best blue Pokémon. The card was impressive to use in battle years ago, but now it serves better as a collector's item rather than actually using to play with.

Its ability allows the player to attach 1 water-type energy to one of their Pokémon as much as they want before their turn. However, this ability cannot be used if Blastoise has a status effect. Its attack deals a base damage of 40 and an additional 10 for every water-type energy attached to the Pokémon (the three energy required to use the attack do not count toward this).

Professor's Research (Full Art)

The full art version of Professor's Research features fantastic artwork of Professor Oak and is one of the most desired cards from Celebrations. Many players also loved the original version of Professor's Research with Oak reaching his hand out of the artwork as he writes.

This trainer card requires the player to discard their hand and draw 7 new cards which can be a handy card to use when players either want to use a strategy of discarding their cards or need a new hand to try and get them out of a tight situation.

Mew (Secret)

This secret rare card features stunning artwork of Mew as its shiny variant on a gold card. It's a beautiful card through and through and is one every collector should have their hands on.

This card possesses an ability called Mysterious Tail that allows the player to look at the top six cards of their deck and reveal an Item card they find before placing it into their hands. Mew's attack isn't too impressive sadly and deals 30 damage.

Mewtwo EX

Mewtwo is one of Pokémon's most iconic legendary Pokémon and the strongest legendary Pokémon from the Kanto region, so it isn't surprising that one of its cards would be one of the best for Celebrations.

This is card sought after by many collectors and features an artwork of Mewtwo that is simply fascinating to look at. It has two attacks with its first dealing 20 damage times the number of energies attached to both Mewtwo and the defending Pokémon. The second attack is slightly less impressive, but it does deal a total of 120 damage though the player must remove one energy from Mewtwo to use the attack.

Shining Magikarp

The Shining Pokémon cards were essentially the original version of Radiant Pokémon, both of these cards usually depict a Pokémon as their shiny variant and players can only have one in their deck. This Shining Magikarp has the shiny Magikarp on its art and possesses fantastic attacks for being what is considered to be the weakest Pokémon (though it still deals no damage).

Its first attack requires one water-type energy that has both the player and the opponent draw two cards (though the opponent has a choice to not) and the second attack requires one psychic energy that allows the player to take one Gyarados and place it in their hand. That Gyarados can be a Dark Gyarados or a Shining Gyarados too.

Mega Rayquaza EX

Rayquaza is the box-art Pokémon from Pokémon Emerald and is without a doubt the strongest legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region. Such a Pokémon deserves a fantastic card. This tremendously drawn card features excellent artwork of Rayquaza in its Mega Evolution form.

Normally its single attack deals 30 damage, however, if the player happens to have multiple benched Pokémon it deals damage times the number of those placed. So if a player's bench is filled in a normal game, Rayquaza can deal a total of 150 damage. This attack also only needs three colorless energy making the attack rather easy to gain access to.

Pikachu

Pikachu is the most well-known Pokémon and is one of the best electric-type Pokémon overall. This wonderful card of this Pokémon takes the original Pikachu card and gives it a full art version.

This card is no doubt the most iconic card to come out of the Celebrations expansion and gives a perfect feel of nostalgia as the Pikachu sits in the Viridian Forest from the Kanto region where players can catch their own Pikachu in the video games. This card possesses two attacks with the first dealing 10 damage and the second 30 (with 10 damage being dealt to itself if the player flips a coin and lands on tails).

___'s Pikachu

This Pikachu is a promo card for the Celebrations expansion and interestingly enough doesn't possess a Pokémon Celebrations stamp in the corner like every other card does in the expansion. This card features an exciting Pikachu sitting before a cake celebrating Pokémon's birthday.

The large blank before the Pikachu is for players to write in their own name if they desire to mark it as their own Pikachu. This card possesses one of the most unusual attacks ever. This card only deals 30 damage if it isn't the player's birthday. However, if it is, the player may flip a coin and if heads, the Pikachu deals 80 damage.

Charizard

Charizard Pokémon cards will always be the best-selling and all-around best cards in the Pokémon TCG. While many fans may not care to add Charizard cards to their collections, this isn't the case for most. This is a reprint of the original Charizard card is the most valuable card in the Celebrations expansion, according to TCGPlayer.

This Charizard possesses an ability that allows all the energies attached to it to turn into fire-type energies making it a useful card to have in decks focused on numerous types. It also has one attack that deals 100 damage, which was rather impressive in the early part of the game, but the attack requires four fire-type energies, and two must be removed every time Charizard attacks.
