In an effort to keep things fresh, Shark Tank has brought in numerous guest sharks in recent seasons. A quarter of the way into season 14, fans have already seen the return of Emma Grede and Peter Jones. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is also expected to make an appearance later in the season. But who else would fans like to see?

So far, the guest sharks have comprised business titans from various industries and A-list celebrities with a decent net worth. Well, on Reddit, fans believe there are a couple more exciting individuals from these two categories that would add value to the show while also giving the entrepreneurs a big financial boost.

Aaron Krause

Plane_Garbage mentions the inventor of one of the most successful Shark Tank products, writing, “Maybe the scrub daddy guy.” They are talking about Aaron Krause, who pitched a unique cleaning sponge in season 4.

It would indeed be inspiring to see entrepreneurs transition into sharks and help others who were once in their position. Aaron Krause is a good pick because his massive success is proof that the show is not just meant for entertainment purposes but actually changes lives. With an alleged net worth of $70 million, Krause also won’t have a problem opening his wallet either.

Elon Musk

Fans would be thrilled to see the richest person in the world too. PrestigiousArt hilariously comments, “He’ll just be on to troll Kevin by offering a million dollars more than him each time.”

The Redditor’s prediction isn’t exactly an accurate one, since many wealthy individuals tend to value every dollar, but Musk’s spending power definitely beats that of the rest of the sharks. And since the Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter owner is more confrontational than reserved, fans would be likely to see some of the biggest Shark Tank arguments, maybe similar to the one between Mark Cuban and Richard Branson in which water was thrown.

Steve Balmer

Zootpak thinks “Steve Ballmer would be fun.” The Los Angeles Clippers owner and former Microsoft CEO is currently worth $85 billion (Bloomberg).

Balmer would be a perfect choice since there has always been a shortage of tech and sports expertise on the show. As such, every entrepreneur in these particular industries always hopes to make a deal with Mark Cuban since he is the only one that has had much success in the spaces. With Balmer present, entrepreneurs will have a wealthier and more accomplished person to try and impress.

Rihanna

Green-dandellion thinks Rihanna should definitely sit on the investors’ chair because of “her involvement and success with her makeup and lingerie brand.” The singer, who owns Fenty, is now worth $1.7 billion (Forbes).

Most celebrities that have appeared on the show so far are nowhere near as rich as Rihanna hence her presence would be a game changer. There is the star power factor too. Rihanna would be a huge ratings draw too since she has arguably more fans too than anyone else that has ever been in the tank.

Bob Iger

Redditor macgart says, “I would kill to see Bob Iger. He’s so well-spoken.” The former Disney CEO has a fortune of $700 million (Business Insider).

Being a great conversationalist is always a plus in reality shows and “Mr. Wonderful” is proof of that. Some of Kevin O’Leary’s best quotes are what have made Shark Tank memorable and if Iger was to bring the same kind of dialogue mastery, the show might just attract more viewers.

Shaquille O’Neal

Kwilly462 says, “Shaq for sure.” The NBA Hall of Famer has investments in over 20 businesses and was recently a minority owner of the Sacramento Kings.

What would the dynamic between Shaq and Mark be like? The basketball legend once told the billionaire that his wealth is all down to luck, something Mark has denied over the years. Verbal sparring wouldn’t be so bad and neither would a decision by the two to make a joint sports-related investment.

Jeff Bezos

Redditor artnos says, “I like to give Jeff Bezos the benefit of doubt.” Like many other fans, they are hoping the second-richest man in the world will also pass by someday.

Though he is mostly known as the owner of Amazon, Bezos has invested in over 10 other companies, proof that he isn’t afraid to diversify his portfolio. Fans will also be curious to see how he interacts with entrepreneurs since he isn’t known to be a person that’s fond of the camera.

Peter Thiel

Another Reddit user says they “would personally like to see Peter Thiel.” The co-founder of PayPal, Founders Fun, and Palantir Technologies has around the same net worth as Mark Cuban (Forbes).

As an actual venture capitalist, Peter Thiel has a history of investing in small businesses hence he’d be very comfortable with the proceedings in the tank. Thiel’s expertise would be very essential for the show too. As Facebook’s first outside investor, he knows what it takes to turn a startup into a billion-dollar empire, something

Warren Buffet

A deleted Reddit user states that he is “probably too big for the show... but that's who we'd want to see.” The Berkshire Hathaway owner has been a billionaire since 1990.

Buffet’s lengthy stint as one of the wealthiest individuals in the world means he not only knows how to acquire wealth but also how to keep it. Viewers will, therefore, be happy to hear him educate everyone on the Art of Consistency. But as the Redditor puts it, he’s probably too big for the show. Still, fans can dare to dream.

Reed Hastings

Redditor rnjbond thinks, “Reed Hastings, co-founder, and CEO of Netflix, would be interesting.” Hastings is currently worth $3.1 billion (Forbes)

None of the sharks is familiar with the movie and TV industries, which explains why none took the bait in one of the best Shark Tank pitches where two entrepreneurs wanted money to make a motorcycle film. Hastings' presence would thus help cover this gap, resulting in the emergence of the first major producer to be born out of the business show.
